LocatioNet
is enhancing its amAze service. We wrote about this originally here

What does this mean?
Basically GPS navigation is one of the hot potatoes in mobile. Mobile advertising and voice are the other two hotties and LocatioNet is now marrying all three of them.

How?

Basically, amAze will now be able to offer voice-guided GPS navigation over high resolution satellite imagery. So all amAze local search services can be found by voice navigation.

So?
Well this is great if you are using the GPS navigation service in the car. Even if the passenger is holding it – instructions don’t need to be repeated. Or Bluetooth can be used (if it doesn’t drain the battery power of the device).
