Rating: SMS sexy message service? (Not funny)
Smsfun.com.au is an Australian based SMS mobile community. It launched in early 2006 and in 18 months has seen huge growth and expansion to New Zealand and now the UK.
Smsfun.co.uk was acquired this month.
Rating: GetMobile? NO. Get Playboy
Saucy mens magazine Playboy has signed up Quattro’s GetMobile platform for advertising and site rendering.

Rating: too small or just right?
It seems that mobile books are in. The Japanese set trends and Japanese people are reading trillions of novels on mobile. On of Japan’s leading mobile publishers Maho i-Land has six million members and over one million book titles to choose from.

Rating: War and Peace release

Imagine being a network operator. It’s utter chaos. There you are, being all friendly like and providing exceptional connectivity for the people and listening to their every need, it’s almost a public service. And what do the people do? They whine and moan about prices and then they have the utter audacity to use whatever handset they please on your fat pipe. It’s criminal.

This has been a very hectic September for GoMo News and BKI Media with many social, business, speaking, commentating and blogging engagements. But now my feet are on the ground and will be here until Tuesday, I can finally do email.
So this month I missed a number of blogging opportunities. Most of them in the VC space and this is quick round-up of the press releases that I received and missed. They tell a very, very interesting tale.
Rating: this sounds scary
In one of the latest Dr. Who episodes everyone has to wear ear pieces for the sake of corporate communications. When I read this email it reminded me of that Dr. Who episode the one with the Cybertrons and where Rose Tyler’s parents are all posh and she is a dog (if you know the name let me know).
