Rating: SMS fights on and on and on

Is SMS the defacto guru for getting users interested? GoMo News is not the biggest fan of SMS advertising and search but time and time again it’s the simplest, easiest method to get consumers interested.
We view SMS as a stepping stone to greater search and advertising functionality. US mobile search SMS provider 4INFO has just received USD 10 million from Gannett Investors (including DFJ and USVP) and Sand Hill Capital is now also a new investor.

This shows that SMS is winning and SMS 2.0 is the way in which consumers will discover richer multi-media data services.
