A positive chat with CEO Jonathan Bulkeley on the NeoMedia licensing deal

After the Scanlife blog broke the NeoMedia / Scanbuy licensing deal, I phoned Jonathan Bulkeley, Scanbuy CEO, to get the scoop.
Bena: Jonathan, it’s great to speak to you and I can only say “Hurrah”.
Jonathan:Thank-you. We are excited for the mobile barcode space and US market moving forward.
Bena: So, what happened these past two weeks?
Jonathan: Well, our two companies have been talking for a long time to solve these issues. We have been talking for years. In the past two weeks the companies spoke about getting the matter resolved. Now we have arrived.
Bena: How do you feel?
Jonathan:Very happy. But this is great for the whole US mobile barcode market.
Bena:So the deal is with Neustar?
Jonathan: No. It’s not. It’s directly with NeoMedia. The information will be made public shortly and that is about as much I can say.
Bena: No problem. Jonathan, it’s super news and I am very happy.
Jonathan: Yes and thanks for your support and for the industry.
