During CTIA in Vegas one of my best meetings was with Jeremy Copp CEO of Rapid Mobile. I say it was my best meeting as I like to be surprised in meetings and this one did surprise me.
Why?
Well, first of all I had put Rapid Mobile into one specific category for mobile marketing. I realised for the first time that after following Rapid Mobile for at least 2 years now – the company had matured and was now a mobile marketing solutions company.
I say this as its portfolio has grown from standard mobile site development and its mobile gambling arm to a suite of solutions in the mobile marketing space. But the latest addition Ad2txt has really got me excited.

Well Ad2txt is part of Rapid Mobile mobile advertising arm Ad360. I have always like the name Ad360 as Ad2txt is just as simple.
Ad2txt is a way of measuring the click through rate of a mobile text advert. So you send the message but do you know who clicked on it and when? This new service will tell you.
Its so simple but it can be extremely effective for targeting and marketing. It can help mobile marketers improve campaigns and target promotions to those that click through more and track which promotions which consumers clicked on so that gender or demographics and pattern analysis can be achieved. On top of that marketers can manage and discover at which times users click on adverts more – making for even better targeting.
But that isn’t all. The user interface of Ad2txt is a no brainer. Also, in the last screen shot you can see how each campaign can also be localised by region. This means that when SMS marketing is used or sent - mobile marketers can add geo-location to the internal mix of use patterns.
