Well Medio Systems has lost a MVNO brand in the mobile search wars but that is only a tiny part of the Amp’d demise.
What a mess? To be honest the billing system is vital for an MVNO and from what I can see Amp’d billing was messy. Some people got billed, others didn’t you could pay with a credit card and you would be contacted over the phone – or NOT?
We would like to write something philosophical on the demise of amp’d but what good with that do – the MVNO is closing its doors on Tuesday and the rest is history.

Huh? Did Medio have something to do with the fall of Amp’d? It seems as if you are linking Medio to the “Amp’d demise.” Reads a bit like keyword spam.

dearest mobile.search.guy.
Sorry - it doesn’t read well - Medio had nothing to do with the demise of Amp’d. Often I write too quickly and don’t explain the history because I expect everyone to be so glued to gomo news that they don’t read anything else and hence - know exactly what I am talking about.

But anyway - Amp’d is dead and it had boasted amazing mobile search hits, use access rates. My point was that Medio was the search provider but has lost that brand from its list. Its a shame all around.
