AT&T announces MobileAd Technology from Apptera for Free Directory Assistance

AT&T has announced the launch of a new directory assistance services that is free in California. The free service is funded from advertising offered by Apptera. Basically when a person calls they get access to business listings but can be pushed promotions or adverts near the time of purchase or decision to clinch the sale.
