Bango and Omniture combined mobile and web analytics
Bango and Omniture the Phoenix of mobile web platforms for online are teaming to create one force for PC and mobile web metrics.
How?
Advertisement, an e-marketing web analytics and customer intelligence specialist and Europe’s largest authorized service partners of Omniture, is integrating Bango’s mobile analytics service alongside Omniture’s SiteCatalyst to present a complete and complimentary view for their clients. The solution enables companies with a truly digital marketing approach to maximize their return from both the PC and mobile web.
From the press release:
“Providing a combined solution is a real need for our clients. We’re excited to be able to meet this by providing Bango’s best of bread mobile analytics solution and the leading analytics platform from Omniture in an easily accessible tool,” said Matthijs Keij, Business Consultant at Adversitement.
“We see many companies with PC websites who are embracing mobile as a key element of their marketing strategy. These metrics sit perfectly together to standardize the use of web analytics and the analysis of campaign performance across channels. This helps to monitor integrated campaigns and provide a direct comparison of ROI and conversion rates between PC and mobile web,” said Anil Malhotra, SVP Marketing & Alliances at Bango.
What we think?
Jinkies. Sounds good. I know Omniture from the SEO side and online they do a very good job. What is missing in mobile is an SEO ranking specialist. Mobilytics does it for search but perhaps Bango can learn a thing or to from Omniture and they can create a specific service for mobile. I know that I would find a use for it if it was there.
Saying that SEO on Mobile is a very different beast to online and there are no existing mobile “linking rules” - but the potential in this area is amazing.
I think Anil Malhotra was hinting at this last time I heard him speak at London – but this is the type of long term, quality partner business that Bango needs to win the brand names and recognition it desires for its mobile analytics services. If I have time, I will do a slightly different take to this on mobileseonews.com
