Bango says mobile subscriptions are growing fast

A nice e-flyer (electronic flyer) landed in my mailbox today from Bango. It was proclaiming how mobile subscriptions through WAP are outpacing PRS (Premium Rate SMS).Not sure where Bango’s Martin Harris is getting his figures from but he does offer four compelling reasons to get into mobile subscriptions.

In fact, he says, the US mobile subscription market is growing fastest with AT&T, Sprint and Virgin Mobile all supporting WAP subscriptions. And, naturally, Bango can help you join in.

The incentives are as follows:- the US market is growing fast, so don’t miss out; you can earn more by generating recurring revenues and building long term relationships; you can charge at higher price points and get higher payout rates; plus consumers prefer the safe purchase experience on the mobile web with clearly displayed price, subscription time period and T&Cs.

Bango also says it can re-bill on your behalf and retry any failures automatically.
