The Germany low cost provider BASE (part of E-Plus) has launched a mobile to mobile all network flat rate. WOW.

The cost of the package is EUR 75 per month (about GBP 50). It offers what it call unlimited calls to all mobiles in Germany and has an option to add an SMS flatrate for EUR 5 as well. Then the other option is surfing for EUR 5 per month on the BASE portal and EUR 25 for the whole Internet.

What we think?
BASE is a leader in innovation in Germany and this tariff proves it. We like… a lot. I am currently a Congstar user in Germany but if I was living in Germany this would be the option that I chose. Saying that, ex-W2Forum employee Jan that now living in Frankfurt working in gaming send to me the network reception on BASE was so bad that he hated me for recommending it…. So check area coverage before you buy.

Also, isn’t BASE the operator in Belgium that launched and then withdrew an unlimited tariff because of abuse by consumers??
