So what did we think?
Well, CTIA was really flat this year. It was very small and telling sign of the credit crunch.  The mobile barcodes white paper made my event as I actually felt the real and complete non-understanding of the mobile barcode industry.
Mobile barcodes are set to be one of the biggest revolutions  - link advertising, marketing and barcodes (and I hear Medio is even talking mobile barcodes with search – listen to the video interview with Brian Lent)… so it’s a HUGE area.

I still can’t believe that CTIA has messed this up this badly and I will be sending CTIA a letter from GoMo News with all of the feedback that we received on that White Paper. What I haven’t published is the mobile operator concern and the confusion the paper has caused to the mobile operator world. I am under NDA for many things –but I will do my best to talk to CTIA and find a solution or something that is good for ALL mobile barcode providers including Scanbuy – a company that I am disappointed with for not reaching out to me despite me trying several times.
