BlackBerry to change work culture?
Rating: Work where you want..
No sooner had I finished the article a couple of stories below on the iPhone becoming a player in the business market than I trip over a story on the Economic Times.
They Say: RIM, who make the BlackBerry have announced that it will unveil new smartphones (The BlackBerry with the iPhone type touch interface is now rumoured to be called the Storm) with a “mobile software that allows access to business data for users “anytime, anywhere”.
It has joined forces with SAP, the German software giant to install a version of SAP’s Business Management software. SAP’s CRM software can already be used via the built in web browser but the mobile version will allow business critical data such as sales data, purchase orders, contact information and customer records to be instantly available on the BlackBerry by storing the data on the device and updating it in Real Time. The device will also be GPS-enabled and capable of storing hours of video data which could be used for training the sales people while they are traveling.
We say: It’s going to get messy, who is going to win? Which device would you prefer?? a BlackBerry, an iPhone or a Nokia device..let us know via the comments section..we love to get feedback here at GoMo so come on, you all have an opinion, let us have it!!! ![]()
