Rating: Other messaging phones to get a good kicking?

My favourite BlackBerry site, Crackberry.com has a in-depth look at aspects of the KickStart experience. Quick Summary below.

They Say:

Voice works as expected for a flip. External LCD shows who is calling. Full BlackBerry address book providing CallerID, Picture etc. Closing flip will end active call.

Messaging will match the BlackBerry holster experience. Opening the flip auto-opens an incoming message. External LCD shows who messaged them and a brief preview of the content (if enabled). Opening the flip allows the end user to deal with the message. Full BlackBerry address book integration again. Closing the flip with close/mark read any open messages.

With the flip closed alert reviews can be cycled through using the volume keys, external LCD could show for example callers picture then after a short delay the message, all on the external LCD. Opening flip takes you straight to the message.

We say: Hmm Mouth watering!!!!!! All we need now is an official confirmation from RIM.
