Boopsie Mobile Search partners with ARTISTdirect

ARTISTdirect, Inc. (www.artistdirect.com) has signed an agreement with Boopsie, Inc., a mobile search player to create ARTISTdirect-branded mobile channels on the Boopsie Mobile Platform.

What is Boopsie?
It is is an ODP search engine that finds things FAST. Keystrokes are vital (they need to be very few) to get relevant results.

What is ARTISTdirect?
It sounds as htough its a music feed information channel that has been mobilised for search by Boopsie.

What happens?
The ARTIST index is fed into an Boopsie indexed so users of the serach services will be able to find the catalogue of indexed artists.

What we think?
I was starting to wonder what happened to Boopsie at is launched with a big bang and then seemed to disappear. I remember deleting lots of SPAM on GoMo for the company with fans or social media types blogging links to Boopsie saying it rocks.

But it seems the SPAM side of things is over and Boopsie has made the noise and is now focusing on quality social or multimedia searches for consumers. By working with ARTISTdirect new strong content including music and lyric search enter the Boopsie Search Engine.

This sounds very much like the Targetize mobile search (but I don’t think that Targetize is continuing as a business - if I am wrong let me know).
