Buzzd mobile search wins MoMo Peer Award and Bena gets flashed
Congratulations Buzzd for winning the MoMo Peer Award today more here: http://www.gomonews.com/helio-nightlife-mobile-search-via-buzzd/
As you can see I wrote a not so postive blog on the company only a few weeks ago - but I posted it to show how they did well on the day. So well done the man in the white shoes Nihal Mehta CEO. Two other companies also stood out and a more details post on all of this to follow.
So then. I leave Espacio Movistar and I set to walk to Camp Nau the Barcelona football club. But the lady at the reception advises me to drive. So on the way to the car a very tall woman starts following me.
It think this must be female solidarity as it’s very dark outside. (I was wrong).
I get in the car, lock the doors, put the navigation on and she is peering in the window. I don’t open it, I ask - are you OK?
She says “do you want to ****”
I say, “no -thank-you” (I can’t remember now, but I think I added something like I prefer men)
When she opens her coat. OMG. She was a he and I have never ever ever seen (well that is probably too much information).
But there is a point to this. If LBS services are going to be huge and or GPS - neither my Garmin or my phone warned me about the dangerous area. This is a must in the future. There should be safety and security levels set to places. Because as I drove on - I was definitely in the Red Light District - but had no idea. If I had known, I wouldn’t have parked there.
That is definitely something for location companies to think about.
