Rating: MAPS are so, so boring…

I enjoy being a girl geek. But when it comes to maps the sex appeal stops. Maps are boring. If you can’t find then roll down the window and ASK.

But Nokia is treading on everyone’s toes today.

On the one hand – its an umbrella company with an open Ovi (door) but on the other it buys Navteq the map konig der Welt – that supplies goods to all of Nokia’s competitors including Google.

What I hear you cry?
Yes. From Gate5 to Navteq to some kind of bloody LBS challenge map eternity.

How much?
8.1 billion

HOW MUCH?
Yes. I know. I wish I got turned on by maps and launched BKI Mapedia and GoMap news.

What we think?

Nokia knows how to make friends, doesn’t it.
