This is a nothing story over on New Scientist (surely that’s a trade description when talking abut Bluetooth :-)) but it makes me so mad to see this mind of mis-information spread about that I had to write a riposte.. please indulge me.

Sony Ericsson profit down by 48%!

Marketwatch are reporting that Sony Ericsson have announced that its first quarter net profit fell by a whopping 48% to 133 million euros ($213 million). Sony Ericsson said “sales, which fell by 8% to 2.7 billion euros
