CellFire Mobile Coupons and Kroger consumers

by: Bena Roberts Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

CellFire’s VP Marketing Dwight Moore wanted to meet me at CTIA. I said “yes” and we just picked a slot for a CTIA overview and demo and then I get this in my inbox.

Cellfire is pushing coupons to Kroger consumers via their mobile phones. Basically the service works by Cellfire managing shopping lists and then pushing coupons for goods similar or the same. Then when the user is shopping they can click on the mobile to activate the relevant barcode.

Thereby receiving the discount at the sales counter.

OK, I have written about CellFire quite a bit and am eager to test some of these services. More during CTIA.

If anyone has used this service or is planning to - please tell me!
