GSN, the television network for games, and Cellufun, the “world’s mobile playground” and ad-supported mobile games community, have announced a deal to bring the upcoming GSN game CATCH 21 to mobile gamers across the world. The deal is in association with WorldWinner, which currently hosts a free Flash game version of CATCH 21 on GSN.com and AOL’s Games.com, as well as a cash competition version on WorldWinner.com, GSN.com and a broad network of partner sites. The television version of CATCH 21 premieres tonight at 7:30PM E/6:30PM C on GSN.

From the press release?
“This deal represents the cutting edge of TV promotion,” said Arthur Goikhman, CEO and co-founder of Cellufun. “Integrating our mobile game into CATCH 21’s coverage on gsn.com and WorldWinner.com really rounds out a fully integrated marketing campaign for the show.”

“The online version of CATCH 21 has become a favorite of hundreds of thousands of casual gamers, which presents an excellent opportunity to engage fans in new ways via the TV show and the mobile game,” added Peter Blacklow, president of WorldWinner and executive vice president, Digital, GSN.

What we think?
OK – I admit it. I don’t know Cellufun that well –but then I saw the name Arthur Goikhman – is that a relation of Dan from Mo’Jiva? I did a little digging and it seems so – what a small world!

But I blogged this because flash mobile ad inserted games sound fun - I have to see this - if there is a video or something can someone send it to me!

But completely off topic - on the Cellufun site there is a barcode from Scanlife - Scanbuy. That is the first time I have ever seen a Scanbuy barcode actively promoted on a mobile site.

But back to the point – I don’t have much to say until I test these services.
