Celltick users hit 12 million users in Thailand

Celltick have been quiet of late –but are back with some interesting stats on one of their idle screen deployments in Thailand with the operator AIS. Celltick has annocued that the mobile marketing service mLIVE has achieved 50% penetration of the subscriber base.


On top of that – this stimulates an average of 8.5 transactions per customer per month and secures 20% of advertising revenue.

What we think?
Last month, another industry analyst said that Abaxia was the idle screen king. But with stats such as these Celltick is the dominator. But the SIM issue can be a headache for customers in developed countries.
Nevertheless, the idle screen is the business and Celltick’s use of broadcasting architecture to manipulate it is innovative.
