CellTrust Wallet
Rating: do you trust your Cell?
CellTrust has announced new mobile software and services that make it possible for business to roll out mobile marketing campaigns.
How?
Well the software performs as a secure micro-client platform.
What?
Apparently the CellTrust Wallet works to resolve the issues of handset and operator compliance. This means that the CellTurst Wallet is a b2b or b2c marketing and messaging solution which works as a security solution that allows content and marketing to be viewed as it comes from a trusted source.
The key features of the Wallet
The seven newly available CellTrust Wallet modules include:
• Identity Management Module: simplifies the process of managing user identities across mobile applications providing provisioning and secure access while ensuring ongoing compliance. Automatic data wipe prevents unwanted access to information on the cell phone should it be lost.
• Payment Management Module: gives consumers the ability to easily and securely purchase or make payments with their mobile phone. By integrating banking and other financial institutions, as well as leading online payment providers such as PayPal Mobile, consumers now have the option of making payments, purchases or money transfers.
• Travel Management Module: provides consumers with easy access to their entire travel portfolio, i.e. airlines, car rental, hotels, travel agencies, current itinerary, past trips, future trips, and current miles/rewards/points, as well as real-time flight information. Consumers can book, purchase, and change travel plans conveniently and securely from their cell phone.
• Rewards Management Module: gives consumers the ability to quickly register and input loyalty and/or merchant account data via templates or customized to their preferences. Secure real-time data, user-friendly templates and mobile access make it easy for consumers to participate, manage and utilize customer loyalty programs.
• Coupon Management Module: gives consumers the ability to opt-in to receive, store and redeem coupons by using their cell phone. Convenient retrieval of stored coupons with optional alerting when expiration is approaching further enhances the consumer experience. Redemption with unique bar-code SMS makes for a secure and easy-to-use mobile coupon solution.
• Location Based Services Module: provides relevant information based on geographic proximity, i.e. the closest coffee house, hotel, car rental, or retail outlet. Consumers can automatically receive coupons, special offers or invitations as well as a myriad of different types of information as soon as they come into geographical range of a specific location for the mobile programs they have opted-in.
What we think?
I haven’t tested this and the modules above are very important for the growth in the mobile environment. Coupons and LBS specifically generally need savvy devices and solutions to enable the services to work – so I am not sure if this Wallet will be able to seamlessly unlock all the codes and solutions.
