ChangingWorlds launches ClixSmart Discover for off-portal

by: Bena Roberts Monday, February 11th, 2008

ClixSmart is launching and off portal personsonalisation service called ClixSmart Discover. It enables mobile operators to personalise off-portal content including catalogues and partner sites.

WHAT ?
So basically with this service mobile operators will be able to track everything that its subscriber is doing off-portal. This will allow mobile operators to build in depth business intelligence on subscribers.

What we think ?
Good grief is this legal ? Is it opt-in. Should mobile operators be allowed to have or get this information ? Are there any legal implications ?

I am going to do some serious investigation on this and ChangingWorlds - I will be calling you.
