China Mobile teams up with Google
Rating: another day another mobile operator and Google
I am surprised that China Mobile chose Google and not a white label mobile search company to power its Monternet WAP portal and content. Google has been popular in Europe of “out of WAP” search services and for its “open Internet” strategy.
Google will power the WAP search for digital content, entertainment, news etc and the services will go live in early 2007.
