Chinese firm offers iPhone app outsourcing

Rating: The natural progression for the industry?

It’s a sign of the times but GoMo News was recently spammed by a Chinese firm touting for work on mobile apps and the iPhone in particular. It’s the natural progression for outsourcing. Sadly, the company hasn’t replied to our email yet.

GoMo News is hoping,  of course, that as the result of the mass email, the company has been overwhelmed by responses.  Conversely, it doesn’t look too professional if you use what must be the Chinese equivalent of Hotmail or Googlemail - yeah.net - as the reply address.

One of the problems is identifying just what this company is actually calling itself. It’s probably Itkavia but there’s a possibility that the company might also be called Ibtech.

However, that name seems to belong to a Turkish company, Ibtech International Business Technologies, which offers software with a possible 3G slant.

It’s interesting to see what areas the Chinese firm believes are ripe for outsourcing. It’s placed its bets on iPhone game and calendar application development along with iPhone theme and icon design.

However, in order to avoid narrowing the company’s focus too much on just the iPhone, there’s also mention of Google Android and WAP, of course.

GoMo News wwould be interested to know Itkavia/ibtech’s responses to our questions as to whether it either can name clients or perhaps give examples of its iPhone applications which have already appeared on the App Store.

Here’s the email address if you want to try your luck iphoneibtech@yeah.net.

Otherwise, watch this space.
