Clever bit of mobile marketing from Vodafone, with “floating office”

Vodafone Spain hired marketing company Waskman to come up with a good way to advertise it’s now “Mobile Office” plan. Waskman responded with a cool “floating office” idea.

The idea behind the floating office is to show how Vodafones Mobile Office can help you create a real office anywhere, free from wires or other earthly connections (apart from electricity, one would presume). What we think?

This can’t have been cheap to accomplish, but it’s certainly eye-catching – and that’s what counts in advertising. I wonder what the cost vs effectiveness of a marketing campaign like this is when compared against a more traditional mobile campaign? This is the reason why it’s so important that mobile metrics become better and better.
