Cryptopix: say it with mobile pictures

OK – that one is easy – but can you guess this one?

Cryptopix2

Well this is a new image MMS service for flirting, love, chatting or just having fun with. I like it. I mean the website is a bit basic and can be polished but for a start-up the idea is simple. Messaging rocks (and probably will always be a great way of mobile communication) – MMS might just start making a bigger impact and…

well – not now as I am a frumpy mum type – but when I was younger or at university or art college I reckon I would have used this all the time. It is just sometimes easier not to speak and to write and this image thingy is just great. I bet it would appeal to the horoscope loving female population and if you can get adult pictures on it then to the adult SMNK generation. OMG – I can see a whole new messaging target market created now for the divorced people market with this service!!!

Sign up at Cryptopix – it is currently free but a business model is being created and more on that later.

So in this case a picture isn’t quite worth a thousand words ;-)

Interesting concept but was difficult to decipher some of the pictures.

I tried the service cause my first thought was how were they handling the display of a message composed of multiple images recieved through MMS (or was it going to be one big image composed of all the individual images?).

The answer is they’re not using MMS as the method of transport. Rather, it’s txting an HTML link to the website of the page with your created message.

Probably a good thing cause if multiple MMS were to be sent then this could get very expensive for the receiver depending on data plan.
