CTIA at night! Verizon Party, AirStreams, Showstopper… high heels

What a night!  I had a great night and there is some drunken live blogging as well – which I am not going to delete (what is left) but am not overly proud of.  But during a live stream last night I am telling a guy from Nokia that I want a Sony Ericsson (ARGGHH!) how sad is that!

But anyway – it all started at my presentation on Mobile SEO, search and visibility mobile which rocked. No one left the room when we spoke and ten people came outside to meet us and exchange business cards – great sign.

But yikes – I needed a drink.  It started off with an Earl Grey tea and a chat with an investor – which also went really well. Then I hit Show Stoppers. I met up with Paul Savage, Eric Chan, Dennis from Wap Review and Andy Abrahamson (great pr social media guru type).  So at Showstoppers I ran around getting business cards from everyone and I bumped into some bloggers like mobile diner and then I had about 3 glasses of great red wine.

After this I felt quite bullish and Robert Scoble was there so I got introduced to him and demoed Gomobileseo.com on the iPhone and guess what it didn’t work. I died. We have such rigid checks in place it has always worked but for some terrible reason at that time – it failed.

I died. I apologised and made my very fast exit wishing I had ripped my business card back from his hand. But then I really hit the wine and had about 2 more glasses.

The funniest thing happened then I got a call from MPulse Paul Smith saying we are having a party in the AirStream lets go!  So, me and (gulp) ten men (why am I always the only woman) hit the airstream and headed to the Verizon Party.

OMG – I drunk even more and got on the FlixWagon (I have had to delete some) and did the drunk happy, blogger in SFO thing. ARGGGGGHHHH!

I think I told everyone I loved them, I promised Verizon to buy a phone for live (I don’t even live in the US) and shouted – if you don’t know GoMo News – you are B.A.D!

So – I am dangerous at night at CTIA – I blame a really stressy day – which was actually so successful. I don’t ever want to see Robert Scoble again – in fact I am going to hide and am still just cringing – because that kind of thing NEVER happens to me!

What a night.
