CTIA: Orange Partner Camp party – Supper Club
Rating: Vodka is really not my drink
I drank Vodka tonight and I think it was a mistake as I feel a bit weepy. But that is not because I didn’t have a great night – because I did. Orange Partner Camp know how to party! I had a fantastic chat with Sun on Java apps; I bumped into the adorable Steve Glagow Orange Developer guru again and also Yves Martin my favourite Orange device man.
I have always loved the Supper Club and the venue will not be forgotten easily. But I decided to leave relatively early as I wanted to relax (the jet lag has hit me) and I bumped into MCN’s Michael Crane again – who dragged me to a party at a Baseball pitch. It was not as impressive as Barcelona’s Football ground where Nauta Capital treated me at 3GSM but still very, very cool. The drinks were served in the pit lane? Sorry not sure what you call the dug out bit where all the bat man sit (oh dear – I really don’t have any idea about Baseball).
I ate a bag of popcorn; chatted with Eric Chan the guy behind Caboodle that got sold to MCN and he said to me he had spent some time with two “huge name” analysts but GoMo News provides him with the stuff he needs and likes to read. This was really, really nice. Then I bumped into the Gerry Goldstein from mformation.
I have to be honest, I don’t know a lot about mformation but I had a great pitch and will definitely check out the company. Gerry is a great guy who has a back ground in GPS and search so were on the same page for a couple of things.
