Debenhams launches in-store kiosks

Mobile commerce solutions expert NN4M has designed and built its latest in store kiosk application for leading UK high street retailer Debenhams.

Branded Debenhams Extra, the Internet enabled touch screen kiosks will be rolled out across the UK, and give customers access to the retailer’s full product range while in store.

This comes after NN4M’s successful development of iPhone, Android and Nokia apps for the retailer.

NN4M designed and built the range of in store kiosk applications, to create both an engaging and functional service in store.

Commenting on the launch, Lorraine Howard, Director at NN4M said: “We believe our team have recognised and responded to growing customer expectations by designing and building the range of in store kiosks which enables customers to enjoy a seamless multi platform experience.”

“People are now able to find out about the entire product range from within the store, use the barcode scanner for further product details or to order clothes in different colours or sizes, and ultimately make purchases as and when they wish from whichever touch point they choose. We have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project to support Debenhams’ overall multichannel retail strategy,” Howard added.

Debenhams plans to make the in store kiosk application fully transactional in the coming months to further ensure customers will be able to shop as and when they wish, across multiple platforms.
