Rating: Goofy  plan
By Tony Alton

Surprising announcement that Disney is considering opening another MVNO in Japan with Softbank so soon after announcing the closing of their Donald Ducked US network, costing them $30m.  The children’s  cartoon company is going to work with Japan’s 3rd largest carrier to deliver handsets and content through their 2,500 stores.  Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and those Chipmunk things said in a statement last night that they were hoping to bring sunshine and happiness to all the children in Japan using the mobile phone and it had absolutely nothing to do with generating revenue.  Sounds like a load of Steamboat Willy if you ask me…
