Rating: good move

Norwegian company Fast Search and Transfer said it has signed an agreement to supply its Fast ESP (Enterprise Search Platform) product to Britain’s mobile phone software maker Symbian.

Fast said the agreement with Symbian was based on software licence and maintenance fees.

No other information is available. This is good news for both companies, each of which operates in a very tough competitive environment, often competing against much bigger players.

BKI Media (www.bkimedia.com) has long argued that Fast should be a hit in the mobile enterprise sector, drawing on its impressive list of corporate customers who deploy its software online and Nokia-owned Symbian is a feather in its cap.
