Rating: great idea

82Ask has announced a free service for festival goers – well 3 free text answers at least (worth GBP 3).

From the press release
Sarah McVittie, CEO of 82ASK said, “Festivals are such a large part of the UK summer we thought we would try and help people make the most of them by providing exactly the information they need, direct to their phone. Whether you are dancing in the sun or flapping about in the mud, the one thing you usually have on you is your phone – so what easier way to find out exactly what you want?

“Whether this means finding out where the nearest welly stall is, how to get grass stains out of your white trousers or who the band is that you are watching, we can help you out. Just text your question to 82275 and we will answer it as quickly as possible.”

The Festival Helper Service works throughout the following 2007 festivals: Creamfields, Global Gathering, The Big Chill, T in The Park, Glastonbury and The Reading and Leeds Festivals.

What we think
Loads of GoMo readers and friends are going to Glastonbury and will be delighted by this service – its fun and free and a great initiative to highlight 82Ask’s services.
