First ‘Samsung Bebo Nights’ Presents The Temper Trap!

AOL owned Bebo and Samsung are proud to announce that ‘The Temper Trap’, which featured in the BBC Sound of 2009’s long list of 15[1], is to kick off the first Samsung Bebo Nights live at the Gibson Guitar Studio on Monday 6th July.

Melbourne rock band, The Temper Trap (www.bebo.com/thetempertrap ), first attracted the attention of the worldwide music industry after playing to sell-out crowds at London’s Musexpo in October 2008, South by Southwest in March 2009 and most recently Australia’s V-Festival. Now Bebo users are being offered the fantastic opportunity to win tickets to experience the atmospheric, captivating sounds of this up and coming band at one of London’s coolest intimate venues.

Samsung and Bebo are offering 30 people the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the guest-list only show to experience an amazing, up close and personal performance, with one of the biggest bands of tomorrow. All they have to do is go to the Samsung Bebo Nights profile (http://www.bebo.com/samsungbebonights) and follow the instructions for entering the competition to try and win tickets.

The quartet’s first album Conditions, which is set to be released in the UK on 10 August 2009, was recorded with producer Jim Abbiss, who was at the controls for the debut albums by The Arctic Monkeys and Adele, and now Bebo is offering ticket winners the chance to hear those tracks in anticipation of the album’s release.

Samsung Bebo Nights live at the Gibson Guitar Studio, which marks Bebo’s first foray into live music events, will be a monthly live performance of established and up-and-coming music acts. Open to Bebo users this series of intimate live events will extend the reach of Bebo music offline and will feature cutting edge music talent from across the globe.
