FISHLABS mobile games hit the Nokia N-Gage service

FISHLABS today announced that it will publishing mobile games on Nokias N-Gage service. The 3D gaming specialist has three titles lined up for 2009, with at least two more coming in early 2010.

Powerboat Challenge, Rally Master Pro, and Snowboard Hero are 2009 titles, with followed by Galaxy on Fire and Blades & Magic to follow. All titles will be significantly improved in terms of graphics and sound quality and will be enhanced with additional features.

What we think?

We’ve all heard how the iPhone is now regarded as a serious handheld gaming console, almost equal to the likes of the PSP and DS. We’ve also seen a massive trend towards porting smartphone services and applications to lower-end devices via hosted computing and on-server platforms. So I have to admit that I really should have seen this one coming, especially as FISHLABS have been very active of late. I’m a big fan of this trend, so I hope that FISHLABS and Nokia do well together.
