Rating: Fat fox gets in through hole in walled garden, will tear up chickens and sick on steps

After prowling round the perimeter of the mobile world for some years, occasionally throwing itself at the walls and getting torn by barbed wire, Firefox has just announced plans for a mobile version. A member of the hairy surfer commune, where Firefox is designed in a tent somewhere on the West Coast, yesterday gave this amazing quote on the company blog: “People ask us all the time about what Mozilla’s going to do about the
mobile web, and I’m very excited to announce that we plan to rock it.” No way bro.
Firefox has traditionally had to steer away from going mobile due to the fact that its is more resource intensive than other browsers, however it seems that phones have gradually caught up. I for one am very excited and am looking for multi-tabbed browsing crashing my aging phone.
