Go2 and Zvent bring up-to-date local live music info to mobile

Go2 is a mobile company that specialises in local entertainment search and display on mobile. It has announced a deal with online company Zvents, a local events aggregator. Zvents collects event info from all over the web, and automatically detects your location when you visit the site. Its front page displays what gigs or other events are going on in your area tonight and in the future. Under the deal, Go2 will specifically be carrying Zvents comprehensive local music service to mobile users.

What we think?

This could be a great service, so long as the function that automatically displays your local events can be maintained. The online site allows users to set their location - on the mobile site, that would mean that just one click can let you know what’s going on in your area tonight. Sounds good to me!
