GoMo 1-to-1: Rapid Mobile

Jeremy Copp, CEO of Rapid Mobile took me through some of the recent developments from the company. What we didn’t touch on in this video, but talked about later, was interstitial advertising. Rapid Mobile provides this service, which displays full-screen ads during the loading process while you’re browsing the mobile Internet. It occurred to me that this is actually very useful. In my experience, mobile web browsing is so slow that you spend a lot of time looking at a motionless screen. At least the appearance of an ad lets you know that something is being loaded!
