GoMo News in the hands of Nokia Ovi Files at CTIA

by: Bena Roberts Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

So, I receive an email this morning offering me a free trial of Files by Ovi.  I had never heard of it so took a look at the website - files.ovi.com

  Nokiaovifiles

I looked it through and thought that I would sign up. For fun - I could image this to be interesting sharing things with my peers. But I am going to go a step further. For CTIA - I am going to download the GoMo News Media Pack and Info Files.

Thinking of the environment and saving on printing and carrying lots of information. I will use only Ovi for file sharing and giving through out CTIA.

Lets see if it is a reliable business service too and I will report back (hopefully not daily - as that would mean it isn’t working) with an update during CTIA.

But the sign-up for the service is a headache - it has taken me six attempts as my password was never strong enough.  The installation and in the run up to CTIA will report back.
