About MEX
MEX helps executives to gain a deeper understand of customer behaviour and translate that knowledge into better mobile products. The key objective is raising awareness of user experience, issued as a strategic priority for everyone in the value chain, encouraging the mobile business to put consumer needs at the heart of the industry. The 10 point 2008 MEX Manifesto forms the heart of the conference (see www.pmn.co.uk/mex/agenda08.shtml or get the PDF copy here www.pmn.co.uk/mex/mex2008-brochure.pdf. )
We’d also be happy to link you up directly with any of the speakers at the event (www.pmn.co.uk/mex/speakers08.shtml)
“MEX helps the mobile telecoms industry to see the world through the customer’s eyes. We know many customer’s real experiences are often a world away from the technology hype spun by the mobile business. At the conference, we provide an environment where all of the companies who can make this better for the end customer - from handset manufacturers to network operators - work together to make real progress on enhancing the mobile user experience.” Marek Pawlowski, MEX.
The MEX Mobile User Experience Awards
Hosted by MEX on Tuesday evening, the MEX Design Competition is an open challenge to the mobile industry, individual designers and students to address the challenge of making the experience of using mobile devices some much better for you and I. The proposition is simple enough, “Design an interface, idea or product to delight customers and enhance the mobile user experience.”
