When you read this article one will reason quickly why I am linking to it.

But talking about Google and Android. Last night in Barcelona I had dinner with an existing SVP of a mobile search company that is about to leave to start up what he described as the “android killer” for mobile operators.

There is a lot of potential in mobile at the moment and if one looks at hype vs reality; when there is a lot of hype there are even more hiccups.

But on the other hand describing something as an Android killer before launch of either service is premature.

In anycase, my interests are currently focused on what is going to happen with Yahoo! the over hype of one barcode company in particular at Mobile World Congress and social media.

Due to the stress of MWC, better competitive analysis on this from next week - when the website errors and teething problems should also have been solved.
