Greystripe offers mobile games from Sega

by: Bena Roberts Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Last time I wrote about Greystripe at CTIA one person at a mobile gaming company called me and said, “please get me on Greystripe”.

I asked them what they meant? He said, I want to have my ads in Greystripe portals. I then called him and explained the Greystripe partner model and what AdWRAP was.

After that, I thought to myself. I have to learn to consult that information should have cost him money!

But anyway, Greystripe is making waves and getting the recognition it needs in mobile. A few other mobile search and advertising companies have mentioned them to me.

Now Sega titles will be available via Greystripe’s Catalogue Platform.

What we think?

Good. The only thing that worries me slightly is that a patent war or issues might arise. Several mobile gaming companies have told me that THEY own special patents concerning putting ads in mobile content and games.
