Hurry to reserve your seat on MWC 13 flight

EasyJet accepting payment for seat bookings already

Hardened Mobile World Congress (MWC) attendees are well aware that procrastination is not the name of the game when it comes to visiting Barcelona in late February 2013 for the cellular industry’s biggest conference and show. Hence, to ensure we were ahead of the pack, we booked our flights to Barcelona courtesy of Easyjet some time ago. There’s still about 36 days to go before the conference starts on February 25th [2013].

So, it’s now come to our attention – thanks to the internet, naturally, that Easyjet has started accepting payment for seat bookings.

A facility which I, personally, hadn’t heard of before.

The good news is that I managed to score a couple of aisle seats pretty close to the front of the ‘plane for a mere £3 each way by reacting immediately.

Whilst the MWC show has its own mobile apps, it might just be worth downloading the app for your particular airline.

In our case, we have the Android version of Easyjet’s app – available from Google Play (more information here) running on our loan Motorola RAZR i.

Naturally there’s an iOS (iPhone version) too. More information on how to download that here).

Then, of course, there is travel insurance to consider and investigate whether you are covered for the loss of your mobile phone and netbook.

I got my flight tickets already in October, but with Iberia: I need an extra luggage for all gifts and gadgets I’ll get at MWC with no additional cost! And the overall price has been cheaper than with Ryanair.
