Rating: finding curry houses made easy.. oh and bollywood content too!
Hutchison Essar (in India) has teamed up with Microsoft for broad-scale mobile services. They are set to develop an alliance in India and work together to serve Hutch’s subscriber base with Windows Live services.
The search will include business listings and digital content. This extends an existing partnership called “Planet Hutch” (source). These mobile portal services include a service called Hutch’s Fun Cards.
Our cleaner’s relative is over from India and by chance I asked about these cards. Apparently it’s a no-brainer way to download content in India and its very successful as it solves the issue of illiteracy. To compliment the Hutch Cards service and perhaps to make it free and even more accessible to consumers – Mircosoft will be introducing advertising to digital content search.
