Kooaba mobile visual search campaign in CINEMA Magazine

by: Bena Roberts Thursday, September 4th, 2008

The Movie Magazine CINEMA is allowing users to vote for their favourite advert in every issue?

How?

Basically during September, readers take a picture of their favourite ad and send it to a special shortcode.  Using kooaba’s technology each advert sent in is saved and recognised for categorisation.

Also there is an incentive to use the visual mobile search services (you get the chance to win a ride in a white stretch limo with chauffeur and cocktail bar (BLING BLING!!).

What we think?

I love these types of consumer pushes on visual search technology as the prizes really drive uptake, education and most importantly use!
