Rating: We’ve doublechecked and it’s there now
We were excited to learn that RIM had introduced a new version of its BlackBerry App World – namely 4.0. However, GoMobile News has a nasty habit of checking things out and to our astonishment here in the UK (at least), we weren’t actually able to download version 4.0 to our BlackBerry Bold immediately. We followed the link provided – http://uk.blackberry.com/services/appworld/ and had no joy. Then we tried this URL. Initially, all that happened was that we downloaded a slightly newer version of version 3. Then suddenly, the Bold calmly announced that version 4.0 was indeed available. Strange. So here’s some of the new features in version 4.0.First off there’s a ‘Wishlist’ The aim is to make it easy to mark an app to download and/or purchase and add it to your Wishlist. You can even share the Wishlist with your friends and family.
You’ll see a little wish list icon next to the Download button.
Version 4.0 also offers enhanced functionality. For example, in My World it’s now possible to permanently delete items directly from your digital locker.
Additionally, you can also re-install items with a single click, and easily make multiple edits in App World.
The BlackBerry App World storefront should make it easier to quickly access past purchases.
RIM’s PR people also pointed us at the official blog here but at the time of writing that didn’t have any information on version 4.0 yet.

My app world has disappeared I don’t know h☺w to get it back. Please tell me h☺w to get ♍Ɣ app world back.
Your version of the App World software is somehow out of date. In the UK you would simply visit http://uk.blackberry.com/apps/app-world/download.html and download the latest version of the App Wrold app.
