Learn how to build your own campaign @ US NFC Bootcamp

Rating: Get NFC Savvy just before MWC Barcelona 2013

Understandably, with more and more devices offering NFC capabilities, OTA Training reckons that now is the time to leverage the power of NFC (Near Field Communication) to reach target audiences and create an appealing customer experience. Hence it is organising the NFC Bootcamp in Irvine/Los Angeles, USA. The timing may just be perfect because the event is taking place on February 20th – 21st [2013] just days before the MWC show in Barcelona, Spain. NFC technology will form a part of the mobile and cellular industry’s leading showcase this year, of course.

OTA claims that attendees should find out how to navigate the NFC ecosystem effectively in order to implement solutions that customers are demanding.

It also points out that leading brands such as Lexus, Danone and Barnes and Noble are already leading the way in their utilisation of NFC technology.

The organiser also promises that attendees will be able to build their own campaigns and will leave the Bootcamp with hands-on training and a software development kit that includes tags, reader/writer and software to implement an NFC-enabled campaign.

Participants will learn about the complexities surrounding managing mobile wallets, as well as about the world beyond contactless payments.

The event promises to showcase the capabilities, uses, best practices, infrastructures and platforms surrounding NFC. Details of the full agenda are here.
