LiveJournal enables geo-location for Windows Mobile
Here’s a very quick LiveJournal update. Windows Mobile owners who use the service will be able to automatically geo-tag their posts and updates to the social blogging site. How does it manage that? With a Google product, of course!
The Google Gears client for Windows and Windows Mobile allows applications to interact better with your device. So if you’re posting a picture to LiveJournal from your Windows device, it will let everyone know your exact location when you took it. And not just GPS co-ordinates either - it detects the street address, if there is one.

What we think?
Geo-location has become another one of those ubiquitous services. There was a time when every new proposal had to have a social networking option thrown in there for good measure. That’s still going on, but now geo-location has been dropped in as well.
