Rating: seek and ye shall find bookies, timber-merchants and Fat John’s dirty book shop

By Tony Alton

US based local search collusus Local.com are today drinking pints of warm sweet bitter in celebration of their UK local search site reaching 800,000 visitors in July.  The Nasdaq listed company cracked out the cucumber sandwiches and silly floppy Union Jack hats amidst a blizzard of poppers after the 800,000th visitor searched for "Jam Shops" in Piddlehinton.

Advertising from Thompson Local and Google Adsense is paying for the beer.   All in all everyone is  getting on rather well, Dan in accounts has just asked Dawn the cleaner to show him her pants and the work experience boy was just sick into an envelope.  More to follow.
