Here are some pictures of Mobile Media Night at the M-Days. It was great to see so many people that I knew and once again I left with a pile of business cards. There are so many newbies in mobile at the moment –but us veterans are still around (Yeah!).
I have to say a huge thanks to Tobias Conrad Leiter Objektmanagement Bild.de (Manager of Bild.de at Axel Springer). What a complete and utter lovely gentleman. He not only held every door open for me during the event, he navigated fantastically as I drove 6 industry veterans in my chariot from the show to the Odeon nightclub. On top of that he paid for my expensive parking ticket (without batting an eyelid) and gave me a free pass to the Mobile Media night. Arnold Schwarzenegger move to one side – Tobias Conrad enter!
Tobais Conrad, you rock. As a huge thanks I will encourage every GoMo News Hack I know in Germany to download the Bild iPhone app! Yay!
It was great bumping into the charming Rene Bellack who has now moved from Vodafone Germany to Out There Media (Vice President Sales). Rene I hope you managed to get your train back to Cologne….
I spent most of the day with the amazing Harald Neidhardt from Smaato and M Love. OK, before I am called biased and all sorts of things (yes, someone accused moi of favouritism last night)….. Yes. Smaato do sponsor GoMo News (and we are divinely greatful as without sponsors there would be no GoMo News). But that doesn’t mean I can’t like someone and find them cool and spend time with them??? (Bena sending out good Karma to everyone).
Anyway, Harald is a great guy and Smaato is doing very well and M Love conference is coming soon and um Harald is going to the Grammys (how jealous are we?).
Lastly I met the MXO ladies Anja and Eva. They are creating a conference on mobile opportunities in Hamburg (www.mxohamburg.com). Loved them, nice ladies, great laugh… go to MXO!
