M2M Summit to go truly international thanks to USA

Organised by theM2M Alliance, the theme of the M2M Summit 2014 held in Dusseldorf, Germany is ‘M2M – From technology to business’. Now in its eight year, this summit has established itself as the largest M2M event in Europe with approximately 1,000 registered participants and over 60 exhibitors last year [2013]. The congress and accompanying exhibition will discuss the top themes and technical Innovations in M2M communication. These include: – international cooperation; uniform standards; the Internet of Things [IoT]; and the benefits of M2M in the Industry 4.0. With the help of its partner country, the USA, this summit is expected greater international interest than in previous years.

Eric Schneider, chairman of the M2M Alliance, commented, “M2M communication and the Internet of Things [IoT] is already an important part of our lives – privately and professionally.”
